No Cause for Concern? Issue #7 | March 1983 | Page 13 | L'Etranger

Jan, 20-22, at the Roxy

L'Etranger impressed me more than any other band I've seen in a long time. They're great! Their music is very melodic. If you've heard the album it's pretty poppy and mainstream sounding but they sound much more intense live. One of the best things is that you can hear most of their lyrics and they're really worth listening to.

Their stage presence is amazing, it's really open and really sincere. It's obvious that they believe what they say in their songs.

I was there all three nights (I really like them!) and all three nights it was quite full. The audience seemed to be enjoying themselves and the encores were great too! So next time they come to town -- DON'T MISS THEM!!!
