Dave C. was right. For the second time in a row I, Tim Mech, am proud to award M.D.C. with the 1983 Pulitzer Prize! Blow me away, no, M.D.C. does more than that. They impress me in a way that lasts. Awesome mix, great vocals, terrific guitar, super bass and amazing drums. These guys got their act together. Their first lp "Millions of Dead Cops" gives a good idea of what you should expect, but this four-song e.p. is altogether just as good as the first lp. Contained inside are some beautiful El Salvadoran pictures and there's also a whole load of writing explaining M.D.C. and El Salvador. Rating: 10/10. Buy it, you won't feel at any loss at all. Ultimate hardcore. - T.M. |
